I moved from the wordpress.com to the .org version which is now connected with my site.
I will see you there.
You’ve probably been wanting to know how those birds have been going. Well here’s the inked and color rough versions. When he’s all done, you can buy a print through the “SHOP” link on my page which will lead you to my imagekind store, or if your heart desires on Moo.com from my designer page.
The final is almost done, just tweaking the beak.
*SIDE NOTE*
I’m redesigning the blog and changing the address, THIS IS THE WARNING. I will let you know when I change over so you can update your RSS feed.
This was supposed to go up on sunday…I’ll have to look into that.

I went ahead and opened up a site from image kind. As of right now it’s only a select few Illustrations with more on the way. If you have a favorite from my site that you would like to see up there, let me know.

Here’s the line drawing and color rough for the Ukulele that I posted about last week. I’m currently looking into imagekind.com’s printing services for selling prints since I do not have the hardware to do so. I’ve heard and seen good things from them through colleague and close friend James Provost.
Why not check out some of his prints that he showed me? Like this mighty fine Motor Scooter.

After reading this article on Wired.com about the new Iphone 3GS battery overheating to the point where you can’t even pick it up, I thought hey, perfect timing for summer. This is one thing the Iphone 3GS can do, “No app Required.”
(final ink drawing/final color version)
Here’s a link to wired.com’s article, written by Brian X. Chen.

Here are some photos of my work from the Birds and Bees Gallery Show.
That’s right, the Yerba Bird has been sold. Makes me pretty happy to hear that too! I’m glad I could help out all the way from Vermont…how about that INTERNET EH? YEAH! BRAPS ALL AROUND!
But hey, Waffle is still for sale, only $125 framed, and it’s an original.
*Don’t try reheating that waffle though…it’s made with wax so it will melt. *

I love fountain pens. Hands down they beat any other type of pen on the market in a bare knuckle brawl.
I recently bought an EF Lamy Safari to replace my Rotring Art Pen that I used to use 24/7 because I draw my letters and outline them and hey lets face it a Fine nib isn’t Extra Fine. Needless to say I love my supplies and like to know what does what when mixed with what have yous and what nots. So here’s a link I found on the web when researching what kind of ink works well in fountain pens and what kind of pens to get in case you were looking for a top notch one.
Moleskine Friendly Fountain Pens
That link contains some pretty swell readings and I think my next purchase is going to be that Noodlers Bullet Proof Black since it works great in fountain pens and not to mention it’s bullet proof. I know you’re probably expecting a drawing to go along with this POAST and normally I would have one but I threw out my higgins caligraphy ink (But, not if you were this higgins.) because as it turns out it’s no good for fountain pens. Thats why it pays to research your supplies.
